Planning wedding season without double bookings
Popular Saturdays, options that expire and artists who share their availability in time.

Between April and September most weddings come in, often for the same Saturdays. Here's how to keep track.
Start in winter
Many couples book their DJ or band eight to twelve months ahead. Have next season's packages and prices ready in January.
Know your popular dates
Look in your calendar at which Saturdays filled up first last year. For those dates you can charge more or use a shorter option period.
Use options that expire
A quote that stays open for three months blocks a date. Give it a validity of two weeks. StageDesk reminds the customer before the quote expires.
Plan your artists well
Have artists fill in their availability well in advance. Then you see per date who can play, and you don't ask three people for the same party.
Work with other agencies
Is a date full? Share the inquiry with a partner agency instead of saying no. You keep the customer happy and the relationship warm.
After the season
Look in your dashboard at which types of party and regions brought in the most. That's where you focus your marketing next year.
